If you look at my handy little budgeting app on my phone, “Food” takes a large percentage of my spending. And why shouldn’t it? This city is full of coffee, full of treats, full of little nooks and crannies in which to cuddle up with a book, or a laptop, or even a crocheting project. Sometimes, when things can feel overwhelming, all you need are some mini donuts and a friend along for the ride (or not) and it just seems like it’s going to be alright.
